Bionaire A1260C Carbon Replacement Filters, 4-pack

Works Great...Easy to Replace...Order Early
The "Bionaire A1260C Carbon Replacement Filters" are for use for several models of the Bionaire Air Cleaners(see editorial review for model numbers). I have the Bionaire BAP1175 Quietech Hepa Air Cleaner(which by the way is a fabulous product in itself).

My air cleaner works on a 3 filter system. The first removes the larger particles from the air(it may be washed) Next,this one, is a carbon filter(very easy to install and remove) that traps odors. This works great. The carbon filter does a good job of removing dog smells, smoke and cooking odors as well. It is recommended to change these filters(there are 2) every 3-6 months(it may not be washed).These filters are fairly inexpensive to replace.The instruction manuel says you will know when to replace it, as "odor removal effectiveness will be noticeably reduced". That is exactly how I knew when to change my filters.Running it almost constantly, it was just short of the 3 months that I noticed they needed to be...

Generic filters, not Bionaire!
Was not the Bionaire A1260C Prefilters as advertised in their (Complete Filtration Services) listing. Instead they were generic filters that were poorly cut and not even squared, I had to trim them to make them fit. If you are going to advertised a manufactor's product then that is what you should deliver, not some homemade item.

Good deal, but...the dimensions are incorrect...

A1260C/and HAPF60 are both shown as being 11.2 X 6.6 X 1.8

I just received a sealed bulk 4-pack of these carbon replacement filters. They are actually 9.25 X 6 X 1/8 and are not the size I was actually looking for. However they are of good quality, and after cutting them to size I actually ended up with 12 "custom" replacement filters of the dimensions I needed.

NOTE: I probably should have mentioned that I purchased these to create a carbon pre-filter for my Honeywell TrueAir Purifier, and was simply looking for a certain size...I wanted to keep my HEPA filter cleaner for a longer time, as well as boosting the overall air filtration. These work beautifully for that purpose! The carbon filter goes right in front of my HEPA filter without affecting the intake cowling, making this a very inexpensive upgrade for the excellent Honeywell product.
