Just what I wanted
We have had a Leviton fan/dimmer control for one of our ceiling fans for several years. I wanted to replace our other ceiling fan controls since we have been very happy with this product. The order was delivered promptly, they were easy to install, and operate quietly, just like our first one. A suggestion that others often add the wall plates to their order caused some confusion. The controls are just as pictured - the wall plates are included.
Just What I Needed...A Great Product For A Low Price!!
Just received this dual rotary switch and installed it this evening to replace the crappy dual sliding switches that were in the house when we moved in. Wanted to test out this product before I installed it throughout the house since all of the dual sliding switches made by a manufacturer that starts with "H" are completely broken (all of the knobs fell off). I was kind of hesitant about the rotary switch (seemed a bit "retro";) because I normally see the sliding switch units, but I figured that nothing can be worse than having to stick something in the unit just to turn the light on and off because the slider broke off completely inside. I have to say that installation was absolutely easy. The light dimmer work wonderfully and I love that I have 4 speeds for my ceiling fan....and without that annoying buzzing noise that you seem to get with the sliding switch. I am so glad that I did my research and read the reviews after finding this product because I didn't want to...
Works fine but no push on/push off
The manufacturer description shows push on/push off function along with rotary control. This unit does not have the push on/push off feature. That feature is reserved for the manufacturer's rotory dimer only models. I would love this unit to have the push on/off feature instead of having to turn the knobs all the time.
