great quality
great quality , very quiet for this type of fan. the generic made in china ones can get pretty loud remember this has metal blades. there are no plastic fans that can push this much air. dont waste your money on plastic fans.
Great fan for the price (works awesome with some modification)
My wife wanted an adjustable, oscillating fan that would be reliable and move a lot of air.... The more I looked the more it seemed like there were going to be tradeoffs. If I wanted to get something reliable I would have to pay 100 bucks or more. Then we found this fan. While it is not as large as I had hoped, it has very good construction and does everything we want it to. Now, I will admit that I am a tinkerer and when I noticed that it didn't move a lot more air on high vs low (only a lot more noise) I wondered if it could be improved. As it turns out having thin metal blades is a real bonus because with a little force they can be bent. Now I know they will probably put up a disclaimer saying not to do it and I will probably loose any warranty that I had. BUT, now my fan blows 2x to 3x more air with LESS noise than before. When you increase the pitch of the blades it moves more air and the buzzing turns into more of a whooshing sound with much less audible noise or decibels. The...
