It works, but has some design flaws
I had originally owned the previous model of this steamer, but the heating element began to have troubles. So, I needed a replacement. The older model was slightly bigger and heavier, but at the same time, it also had a better design. There are a number of design problems with this unit that just make it frustrating to use and to have around the house.

The older Conair steamer model that I previously used had a longer hose. This allowed for longer reaches without dragging the whole unit with you. Why they shortened the hose length on this model, I have no idea. But, Conair needs to go back to a longer hose to be more useful in all situations. I had even considered trying to use the older hose on this model until I realized the connectors are not compatible.
Too Light
This model is so light, it can be picked up with the stand that holds the steamer handle even full with water. While light is great in some instances, in this...
Saves me from ironing!
I love this steamer and use it on an almost daily basis. I hate ironing and getting out the ironing board is a pain. This steamer is quick and easy and works perfectly. The only fabric that I've found that needs a little more oomph than the steamer can give it very wrinkled silk. I also like to use this steamer for freshening up my husband's sports coats and other dry clean items between cleanings. Great steamer!
Great product
I love this, I use it on a daily! My husbands clothes come out wonderful. Not only do I save a fortune on dry cleaning but his clothes last much, much longer because their are no harsh chemicals being used. I use it on all his suits and his business casuals.
