great deal
very quiet, we love it. It takes up a lot of room, not a problem for us, but should be a factor considered by anyone looking for one of these.
So far I like.
Many years ago, I used to own a T-Fal convection oven. It was excellent. So, in need of a new one, I purchased this one. I had an Emerson that was great for the first year it worked. So I got rid of it. This one is pretty good, but it takes about 20 minutes to pre-heat it to 350. I had to crank it up to 460 after about waiting 15 minutes, then lowered to 350 when the temp was reached, hence my 4 star rating. What I like about the oven is that it is tall and has a lot of room. It looks well made and is attractive. So far I use it every day and I've had it for about a month already. I'll update this review if I encounter an issue in less than a year.
First time using rotisserie & not bad!
Just got this today & decided to try a roast chicken on the rotisserie. It was a little larger than they recommended, but I gave it a whirl anyway. Have to say it did a real good job, juicy, moist & evenly cooked. Very happy. I gave 4 stars for a couple of reasons.
1. Didn't seem to get as hot as I would have liked. Had the temp at 425 & it took over 2 hours to cook & I had to use the convection mode to finish the roast off. No issues here with the fan being loud as some others have said, so I'm pleased about that.
2. Same as the other reviews, the rotisserie 'holders' just don't seem that sturdy. It does come with this rotisserie 'lifter' tool, nice extra. Only time will tell if the 'holder things' last.
3. The pan you put on the bottom, as the instructions say, 'tilts' when you slide it in or out. There is a space in the ribs that it glides on. This leaves the potential for any liquids in the tray to spill off onto the heating elements &/or the crumb tray under...
